Rise Higher Detroit is the official transition initiative of Mayor Mary Sheffield, bringing together residents, community leaders, and partners from every neighborhood to help shape the next chapter of Detroit’s story.

We are launching the boldest and most community-centered transition Detroit has ever seen, one guided by the same values that have defined Mayor Mary Sheffield’s leadership: collaboration, equity, and opportunity for all.

This transition is about partnership. As we chart Detroit’s way forward, we want to hear from you — your ideas, your experiences, your hopes for our city.
